Created by Project PAINT artist John Granada, The Spider and the Fly is an illustrated zine showcasing Granada’s distinctive approach to drawing and visual storytelling. Granada began drawing as a child in East Los Angeles and has continued making art throughout his incarceration, describing drawing as an important means of navigating and surviving the prison environment.
