Created during Project PAINT’s Drawing & Painting class on E Yard at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility, CPXP is a collaborative comic zine by artists Gwendolynn Freya Randal and Holly Hadassah Stuckey. Their first collaboration, the zine brings together Randal’s background in lowbrow art with Stuckey’s love of Japanese manga and 1990s arcade culture, allowing their shared story and visual language to develop organically.
Both artists identify as transgender and were housed in a men’s institution at the time CPXP was created, where Randal remains incarcerated today.
